REGULATION 2013 PRESENTATION The competition "International Wine Guide" is organized and developed by Catavinum in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Spain). The competition is open to all wines of the World: still, sparkling and spirits wines. Each contestant must complete the registration form for the data requested: Identification of the contestant. Full name of the wine. Region of production. Country of origin from which and in which it has been vinified and produced the product. Year of harvest. If you have been prepared and / or aged in contact with wood. Product category: white, red, sparkling, or liqueur. Recommended retail price in euro.
REGISTRATION FEES Article 2. Registration is FREE.
SHIPPING OF SAMPLES Article 3. You must send 3 bottles for each sample submitted to the contest. The bottles must be fully labeled in accordance with international rules, otherwise the samples will not participate in the contest. Article 4. Participating companies will send samples prior to June 10, 2013.
Article 5. Samples will send to the following address: Indicate in shipping: SAMPLES FOR COMPETITION, NO COMMERCIAL VALUE. Transport costs, customs duties and taxes for the consignor. ORGANIZATION OF THE COMPETITION Article 6. The samples were presented for tasting in a package that allows the anonymity of the samples. Article 7. The jury will consist of the tasting committee Catavinum.
DEVELOPMENT OF COMPETITION Article 8. The wines presented to the Competition will be assessed against the tab OIV / UIOE sensory analysis of wines in international competitions. Article 9. REWARDS Article 10. The rewards will be attributed (diplomas and medals) to wines according to the score obtained: Grand Gold Medal: 95 to 100 points. Gold Medal: 90 to 94 points. Silver Medal: 85 to 89 points. Bronze Medal: 80 to 84 points. Article 11. The total number of distinctions should not exceed 30% of the number of samples entered in the Contest. Each distinction be accompanied by the certificate and which can be downloaded directly from the competition website.
